Melissa is Daystar's founder and Executive Director. She does assessments, oversees groups, leads our retreats, teaches adult classes, and holds private counseling sessions.

Sissy Goff, M.Ed., LPC-MHSP
Director of Child & Adolescent Counseling, Director of Summer Programs

Sissy spends her time in individual counseling, leading our girls' groups, and teaching parenting classes. She is also the Director of Summer Programs and our staff writer.

David Thomas, M.S.S.W.
Director of Men & Boys' Counseling

David works with boys on an individual basis, leads boys' groups, sees young adults, and teaches parentine classes.

Jeremy Shapiro, M.A.P.C.

Jeremy leads many of our boys' groups andcounsels boys on an individual basis.

Betsy Cashman, MAMFT., LPC-MHSP

Betsy leads several girls' groups and counsels girls and young women on an individual basis.

Julia Groos, M.Ed.

Julia leads several of our girls' groups and counsels girls on an individual basis. She is also the Assistant Director of Summer Programs.

David Denton, M.A.

David works with boys and young men individually and in group sessions.

Pace serves as both our Director of Development and our event planner extraordinaire.

Kathleen is the newest addition to the Daystar staff, helping with camps, fundraising, and event planning. We are excited to have her on board.

Mary has recently moved to this position and is doing a terrific job managing us all.

Although "retired", Pat continues to offer her gifts to Daystar now on a part-time basis.
