The Bike Thing

The Bike Thing is Daystar's annual fall fundraiser where kids and families of all ages participate in a day of family fun by biking the Natchez Trace together. You can choose to participate in the 20 mile bike ride or the 40 mile bike race. Each rider gathers sponsors to help raise funds to keep Daystar "rolling" through the fall. Last year, The Bike Thing had over 100 riders and raised over $62,000!

Waiver & Release
I understand that the Daystar Bike Thing 2012 requires that a helmet be worn at all times while riding in the tour. I agree with this safety precaution and agree to comply fully with this rule. In checking this form, I acknowledge that I understand the intent there of, and I hereby will absolve and hold harmless Daystar Counseling Ministries, Inc., with this event in any way, single or collectively, from any blame and liability for any injury, misadventure, harm, inconvenience, or damage thereby, suffered or sustained as a result of participation in the Daystar Bike Thing 2012 or any activities associated herewith. I also consent to emergency treatment in the event of injury or illness.
